Harry H. Barrow has been senior pastor of Newnan Presbyterian Church since 1984.

Harry was born on January 8, 1950, at Johnson Air Force Base in Japan. His family moved to Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 1951, where he lived through high school and college.  In 1971, he received his BS from Louisiana State University. He then received a Master of Divinity in 1974 from Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, Georgia, and the Doctor of Ministry in 1981 from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary. Upon graduation from Columbia Seminary, Harry served as Associate Pastor of Raleigh Presbyterian Church in Memphis, Tennessee, from 1974-1977, and as the Director of Admissions of Columbia Theological                                                                    Seminary from 1977-1984.

Harry's wife, Madeline, works in health communications for SRA International, Inc. They have two children, Leland and Anne. Leland works in the Athletic Department at the University of Georgia, and lives in Athens with his wife Jill, and son, Hagan. Anne and her husband, Jeff Elzemeyer, live in Atlanta where Anne is an attorney.
