Fellowship

Family Night Supper

Whether sharing a pot-luck dinner or a catered meal, Family Night Suppers offer a wonderful opportunity for fellowship with church members. Beginning at 6:15 PM each Wednesday during the school year, the congregation shares a meal and different programs with entertainment provided for the children.

Rehearsals for the various children's choirs and the bell choir proceed Family Night Supper and adult choir practice is immediately afterwards.

FEAST (Friends Eating And Sharing Together) Groups

FEAST Groups are small groups of members who meet together once a month in a member's home, at a local restaurant, or meet other families in the park. The FEAST groups provide a great opportunity to get to know members of our Newnan Presbyterian Family. Each group decides what activities it would enjoy.

Faith and Fellowship

An annual event, Faith and Fellowship is one of the easiest and most rewarding ways to get involved with Newnan Presbyterian Church. During a designated Saturday in January, a variety of activities are available for service volunteers. But Fellowship and Faith is much more than just service. It is a rewarding day of fellowship, food,       entertainment, Christian study and, of course, work.

The day kicks off with an informal Continental style breakfast on Saturday morning. The festivities then begin with the opportunity to volunteer to assist in projects ranging from cleaning and maintenance of the Church building to outreach projects ranging from visitation of shut-ins, "Habitat" and other construction or repair projects to organizing the Food Pantry or cleaning the Good Samaritan House.

Church Picnic

The annual Church Picnic in early September is an old-fashioned outdoor worship service followed by a potluck dinner-on-the ground. Held at a rural setting, the picnic is a highlight of the fall season, as the congregation brings chairs, blankets and covered dishes and fills the morning with music and God's message followed by great food and Christian fellowship.

Coffee Time

Coffee Time is held each Sunday morning between Sunday School and Church. This is a good time to meet new members and enjoy fellowship with everyone.  In addition to coffee and tea, we also have hot chocolate and cookies!  Everyone is welcome!

Shepherd Program

The Shepherd Program’s objective is to connect new members with existing members with the same interest, background, age, etc.

New Members Socials/Pastors Dinner

New members who have joined the church since January 2007 and their families will be invited to dine with Harry and Madeline and other church people. There are two new member dinners a year at Newnan Presbyterian.  The first will be held this spring at the home of David and Jane Albright.  The second dinner will be in the fall at the Barrow's home and the invitees will be those who joined in the second half of the year. Anyone who might be interested in the planning and serving of these dinners is asked to contact Jane Albright at (770)253-6266.
