Adult

• New Members / Visitors ChristCare – Room 225
This short-term ChristCare class is offered periodically to new members and visitors of our church. This class acquaints participants with the ministry and beliefs of the Presbyterian Church (USA) and the Newnan Presbyterian Church. The small group setting also allows participants to connect with one another and with others in the church family

• Adult 1
– Room 132
The membership of this class is men and women, singles and couples, with ages ranging from young to middle-aged adults. The class is facilitated by Tom Moynahan and uses the Present Word curriculum which begins the year with a study of the book of Acts. The Adult I class is known for spirited discussions and good coffee.

• Ysabel Odom
– Room 129
The Ysabel Odom class is our women's class, open to women of any age, married, single or widowed. The class uses the Present Word curriculum, and is taught by Anne Tarbutton with assistance from Mary Bullock and other class members. Class members enjoy beginning the class with hymn singing. Many years ago, Mrs. Ysabel Odom started a class for young women and taught it for many years. The class was later named for Mrs. Odom.

Lowery Welch – rear of Sanctuary
This class is our men’s class, open to men of all ages.  Class members enjoy fellowship, Bible study and hymn singing. The class uses the NIV Standard Lesson Commentary and is taught by class members. Mr. Lowery Welch, a lifelong member of Newnan Presbyterian, founded the class in 1938. The story he told was that he agreed to stop teaching the class if they would name it after him. The men of Lowery Welch take their class on the road from time to time to meet with class members who can no longer come to Church.

• Hannah Fellowship
- Room 235
This class is currently engaged in a "Walk through the Bible." They began with Genesis and are now studying the New Testament. Mike Scott serves as the primary teacher but several class members also share teaching responsibilities. Currently the class is made up of mostly persons aged 50 and above, but all ages are welcome.  The Hannah Fellowship class began in the 1950s and was NPC's first co-ed adult class. The class was named for Dr. Hannah who was pastor of NPC for 44 years until his death in 1951.

Singles on the Square – Library
An ecumenical group of single men and women of all ages, this class is supported by three different downtown churches: NPC, First United Methodist and Central Baptist Church. Dr. Walter Skinner is the teacher. Any single, divorced, or widowed adult is invited to join this class on Sunday mornings as well as for occasional social activities.

B.Y.O.Bible – Rm. 123
A class for Younger Adults, who are eager to put their faith to work in their lives. The class has four or five different units each year – with topics ranging from Bible Basics to Balance in Life. Each unit is taught by different teachers, which brings variety and richness to the class.
