Confirmation
This class is offered each spring to youth in 7th grade or above. During the class young people learn or review some "basics" of the faith (e.g., The Lord's Prayer, The Apostles Creed), examine beliefs about God, the Bible and the church, and most importantly, explore their own faith. At the end of this two month class, young people have the opportunity to decide whether they would like to join the church and be received into full membership.

About Us
Newnan Presbyterian offers a range of activities, events and classes to enhance our young people's lives and their spiritual growth. The goal of our youth ministry program is to build intentional, supportive, and nurturing relationships with our students through contact that extends far beyond our Sunday programs. Besides faith exploration, we also do fun activities such as caving, rafting, rock climbing etc. We also take part in many service projects (e.g. Food Pantry, Hunger Walk, Talent Show, service to homebound members), and lead worship annually.

NPC Youth seek to respond to God’s call through the Holy Spirit to be connected to each other, the church, and the world so that our lives proclaim with joy that Jesus Christ is Lord! Through recreation, worship, service and Bible study, we hope to: call young people to be disciples of Jesus Christ; respond to the needs and interests of young people; work together in partnership, young people and adults; be connected to the whole church, community, and world; be inclusive of all young people.
