Think you know Presbyterian Women? Think again and prepare to be amazed!

Although we wear the badge of “church lady” with honor, how many people in our midst truly realize that Presbyterian women are involved in the life of the church in a myriad of ways, not just in “church lady” ways? Yes, we can sometimes be found in the church kitchen preparing meals for a special event or providing cookies for a presbytery meeting. We can also be found sitting on the board of our local food banks, raising funds for clean water, speaking to our elected representatives about hunger in our communities, working in the community to provide medical care for those in need and advocating for justice and peace.

Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, Presbyterian Women commit to:

  • nurture faith through prayer and Bible study,
  • support the mission of the church worldwide,
  • work for justice and peace, and
  • build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (USA) and witnesses to the promise of God's kingdom.

Circles at NPC

Circles at NPC meet once a month from September through May.  All women are welcome at any of the circles at any time.

Morning Circle: 10am, 2nd Monday of the month in Hannah Fellowship

Evening Circle: 7pm, 2nd Tuesday of the month in Conference Room

What is a Circle?

All adult women of Newnan Presbyterian are invited to join one of several small groups, called circles. A circle is an inclusive, caring community of women where:

1. Faith is nurtured, and growth takes place through worship, study, fellowship, and outreach.

2. Women are challenged to stretch beyond their limits.

3. Women move beyond the safe places of life and reach out to others.

4. Christian leadership is born, cultivated, and sent forth into ministry.
