John Francis Gray, age 78, of Newnan Ga passed away on March 3rd, 2026, surrounded by loved ones. Born on January 25th, 1948, in Abbeville, SC, John lived a life centered on his love for family, faith, service to his community, and the Clemons Tigers. During his 52 years in Newnan, he served as an elder in the Newnan Presbyterian Church, was a past president of the Newnan Rotary Club, former chairman of the Newnan Housing Authority, and past chairman of the Newnan Hospital Board. John is survived by his wife of 52 years, Alice; his children, Leslie (J.R.), Reed, and Leigh Gray; his three grandchildren, Evan, Addison, and Amelia; and his brother, Roddy (Rose) Gray.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 7th, at 11 a.m. at Newnan Presbyterian Church, 38 Greenville St S, Newnan, GA 30263, with Rev. David Jones officiating.
