William Wilkins Kirby, Jr of Newnan, Georgia, passed away on May 24, 2026, at his home. He was born on June 23, 1929, to Carolyn Manget Kirby and William Wilkins Kirby Sr. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A private family graveside service will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife of 72 years Alice Wilkinson Kirby, his three children daughter, Jeanne Kirby Royal (Danny), daughter Alice Ann Massenburg (Robert) and son William Wilkins Kirby lll (Christy) his four grandchildren, Robert, S Massenburg, Jr. (Allison) Elizabeth Massenburg, Anthony Kirby Pinto and William Wilkins Kirby lV and his great grandchildren Ivy Roman and Robert S. Massenburg lll and his sister Carolyn Kirby Arnall.
